Gentlemen, ladies... And other forms of humanoids,
I wonder if I can tap into the knowledge of this parish, here goes. I have 4 days to get from gijon(ferry docks in afternoon) to Malaga, in essence I get there wed morning and have to be in gaucin(near Malaga) by sat sometime.I also have 4 days to get back up from gaucin to gijon. Going down I would like to pass through the picos, weather permitting and I wouldn't mind a nights stop in potes. Also going to gaucin the missus is with me, doesn't want to do huge mileage and would like to finish early and soak a bit of the local culture along the way. this is where I am getting unstuck, I get as far as salamanca, then nothing. I am stuck. Which way to go? That's the first question.
Coming back I would like twisties, sweepers and don't mind sleeping in field on the side of the road as long the roads are worth it. As you can probably tell, I am coming bak hans SOLO.
Pyrenees seem too far to incorporate into my grand plans.
All help is appreciated, all piss taking is welcome.
