Order submitted at BMW, production in June. Still in time to change? Or not possible?

have you ridden the 800gs? I used to cut the lawns as s kid with a honda lawnmower. The engine sounds the same.... It's vibey too. Below 5k rpm its gutless and above its like a rampant rabbit in the vinegar strokes...

I had a GS 800 as a loaner while my 1200 GSA was being serviced, I hated it for all the above reasons. I thought it was going to be a really nice bike, how wrong was I, was going to put some miles on the 800 but just rode home 25 miles and back later to collect mine.
My initial thought was my god how do they manage to sell any.
I was so pleased to get mine back.

You must have rode a bad one mine is fine very smooth with no more noticeable vibes than the 1200 before it and goes well enough in fact an other forum user was surprised how well it went when following me on a 1200

:D must have been a bad one! (was the adventure model) but couldn't get on with it.....then again, i'm not keen on the parallel twin engine in any manufacturers range.... unless its got a more interesting crank that is. I really wanted to like i, so i think thats why it put me off so much. Love the look of it though !

We are all different I hated the new WC engine thought it was bland and lost character from the older model I rode a Versys 650 twin and hated the engine where other love it

May I respectfully suggest, in the nicest possible terms, that you speak to your dealer and stop being a fanny.

He might have ordered this colour scheme ;)

As Trevor Baylis has said on more than one occasion.......................it has to be a wind up ;)

You can normally cancel without any issues as your order gives the dealer a chance to get hold of a new bike for stock. However there is a small chance that you may loose your deposit but I presume you have only put down £100.00??

Talk to your now without further delay.
