have you ridden the 800gs? I used to cut the lawns as s kid with a honda lawnmower. The engine sounds the same.... It's vibey too. Below 5k rpm its gutless and above its like a rampant rabbit in the vinegar strokes...

You must have rode a bad one mine is fine very smooth with no more noticeable vibes than the 1200 before it and goes well enough in fact an other forum user was surprised how well it went when following me on a 1200![]()

(was the adventure model) but couldn't get on with it.....then again, i'm not keen on the parallel twin engine in any manufacturers range.... unless its got a more interesting crank that is. I really wanted to like i, so i think thats why it put me off so much. Love the look of it though !must have been a bad one! May I respectfully suggest, in the nicest possible terms, that you speak to your dealer and stop being a fanny.

He probably can't decide whether to phone, e-mail or visit them
