Ordered a new ADV! deliv time?

Hi all,

Well ordered a new 1200 Adv

Non ABS in white

but,

Delivery time mid June due to BM having no white paint or Chrome exhausts

Anybody placed an order recently??? what deliv time ya got

Placed my order for a white one with chrome exhaust mid January and it was actually ready to collect last weekend - but insurance troubles with Bennetts have prevented a pick up til next weekend....

Waiting for the next 8 days to hurry past

Yep same here!
White "No ABS" or computer,or any of that other crap like a tire pressure monitor or traction control. No bags or mounts,gonna go after market.
Placed the order begining of March when I sold my standard GS. Dealer says arrival in May....

Dealer didn't give me any lameass excuses why so long of a wait except that the Adv model is in big demand world wide.

A mate of mine order the same spec in mid-Feb in Australia and it is being delivered in May. Perhaps three months is standard no matter where you are?

BWM had to stop production of the white 1200'sfor a couple of months to give them time to work out why they were so much slower than the silver ones

All I will say is Rossi's bike is mostly white now, that will do for me!

The yellow ones are obviously the fastest ones. After all its the same colour as the sun so it travels at light speed!!

Hi mate , ordered my 12 gsa in mid january (alpine white, chromed exhaust) picked it up on march the 10th

Ordering time.

Ordered mine begining of March being delivered to dealer week begining the 19/04/07. About 8 weeks from order to pick up. It would seem that if you go for an ABS version there is a better chance the dealer can get one from another who may have one allocated but not sold.
But not many dealer order in the none abs model.
Bought mine from Alan Jeffries (Richard Watson) really nice guy to deal with.

Cant wait to get on it. Hoping to get it for Llangollen.
