Had a great test ride today, lovely weather and a great route that took us out for a couple of hours, once I got back to Bahnstormer i was hooked.:D

Decided on the new light white colour as there's still a bit of me that loves the colour of my old 1150 SE plus, the more I looked at the red version the brighter it was getting until it was almost verging on the LRG4 orange!!!

Anyway new model ordered with black screen and winglets, black Akrapovic can  with associated carbon gumph, gear assist pro and keyless start..:green gri

Hoping Ryan will source one and have it ready to collect next Saturday!!!

Can't wait..

Is that a gsa or gs I thought the white on the 16 gsa was the same white as the 15 only decals changed to red I know the 16 gs is lighter.

I hope you ENJOY.

Am working in a supremely sophisticated and underhand manner to convince SWMBO that, at my age, I now need an LC (Jeez, they have got some grunt) to see me through until I can't hold it up any more (I don't need outfield jokes on that)...... Not sure about the keyless, though, it seems like an unnecessary complication.

Totally agree with you about the keyless start, i didn't opt for that option, the gear shift assist is very good. Quite addictive:JB

Congrats, you'll love it.:thumb

Next Saturday, you say?:green gri

GSA, the 15 model is Alpine White but the 16 version is called light white and it is a different shade. I've not seen them side by side but the 16 model is supposed to be brighter ..

Sat indeed, hoping to meet up with Blues and Twos for a little bimble (blatt) after collection if you fancy it?

Sounds good. What time? I may have to take my GSA over to Vines at some point on Saturday for a software update, depending on whether my mate is working or not.

I put a deposit on a 1200 TE today!

3 grand off new price & just 1000 miles on the clock.

Took it out for an hour and have no doubts it's a very capable bike, but all the rider aids are leaving me a bit cold at the moment.

The twin cam felt better than ever on the way home, and the 50 mile journey became 140.

But the gap between upgrading was growing wider, and the old girl will be 6 in Jan. And I have always believed in parting company whilst your still in love.

Looking forward to some young, firm flesh - But the twin cam, what a classy old ride. :beerjug:

Not sure of a time as yet, I'm expecting a call from Ryan tomorrow confirming he has a bike for me. As soon as I have that I'll arrange a time to collect and post it here..:thumb2

Excellent news Chris - hope you enjoy your new bike :)

Make sure you put some pictures up.

I'm waiting for the text mate :bounce1

My bike all cleaned as I don't want to be to outshon by your gleaming white GSA

I should hopefully be picking my new red gsa te from vines on Saturday

The matt red is an absolutely lovely colour - I saw it last week at BMW Laceby.

I`m sure you will be very pleased with it, enjoy!

Will you be putting fully synth oil in it.................:hide
