Got a pair of QD connectors from Heine Gerick - look to be the same as those from Touratech http://tinyurl.com/37wwtx Part 01-100-0106-0 except that they are black and were £15 each. Unfortunately my German is not up to reading the installation instructions on the Touratech site.

Question: which way round do they fit?

TIA

Richard

Are they single or double ones? If single then the side with the shutoff valve would have to go on the Tank side to stop fuel running out, if double with stop valves in both sides then putting them both in opposite directions will prevent you from mis-connecting them.

Thanks Stewart

If I split one I am unable to blow through either half. Does that make them double? I am also concerned that they might have a preferred direction of flow.

I dont think it matters, they must have valves in both halves by the sound of it, fit them any way you like really.

Thanks Stewart

That's what I have done - but with one 180 degrees from the other to ensure no pipe confusion!

Cheers
