Orlando in the Rain

I just did 32 miles on a HD Road Glide in horrendous weather to drop the bike back at EagleRider in Orlando.

Probably in the top 3 worst riding conditions I’ve ever experienced. Deep standing water all over the highway and literally riding through the bow waves of massive Mack trucks.

I was absolutely soaked to the skin. So much so that the lady at EagleRider gave me a dry T-shirt to wear and said “No charge - consider it a reward for bravery!”

I can trump that....400Km in rain (various intensity) from Calais to Cologne on the way to Garmisch . The gear was over 10 years old, noted and everything was sold off (as no longer waterproof) when I returned home. Now back to layering. New gear purchased.
First time in 38 years of riding that I encountered this kind of weather in August.
