I'm reasonably new to the whole GPS thing so forgive me if this is a dumbass question.
I have a medion pocket PC with GPS function. It is loaded with Navteq mapping software for both UK & Ireland. As expected, the level of detail in the Irish maps is poor once outside the big towns/cities.
I have on CD the OS maps of Ireland. The maps come in 2 formats : .gif and .cal. I can use the .cal files with my 'gartrip' software for use with my little Etrex.
However, is there any way of converting these .cal files to be used with Navteq/Medion ?
Thanks
Ferg
