Thought I'd try some of these Osram Silver Stars. They have had very good reviews in the motoring media and on some of the car tuning forums.

At £20 a pop for a pair with free postage seems pretty reasonable to me. Had the PIAA Extreme White Plus in the 1150, although they were good, they certainly weren't worth £60 a pair plus p&p

Let you know the verdict when they're in!

I have Silver Stars in our cars, well pleased with them. They came out top in an Auto Express comparison a couple of years back.

Been using the Philips 50% brighter bulbs for years in both the bike and car and would not consider going back to "ordinary" bulbs. Plus they seem very durable with only having to replace one bulb (on the bike).

Used silver stars on the GS (from ebay!!) - certainly an improvement over the standard. Also lasted longer than the Philips bulbs.
