Took the KTM in for an MOT and she passed subject to the chain needing a bit more slack.
Popped into my local 'Partco' for some stuff on the short ride home. Left Partco in Fareham and splat, down I went in a heartbeat. Luckily nothing broken but wrist and ribs sore/hurt when I cough or laugh. The bike is also OK.
The road was like an ice rink, the front knobbly stood no chance of finding grip and washed out (downhill slope at just above walking pace).
There's a 'cheap' (most likely old/off) fuel place up the lane from Partco, I guess it invites some pretty shonky old leaking wrecks that dump their fuel on the way out. Diesel, a little light rain and knobbly tyres don't mix.
Anyone visiting Partco Fareham on two wheels (now Unipart to be correct) please take care, the lane is lethal.
