Fine thanks!!! Leg and ankle a bit swollen
and the wife wants me to get rid of the bike (no chance). Don’t know what the cost from the bike shop will be, but im fully comp, so should not be a problem as long as its not a right off....

Take it easy on your leg and ankle. They can hurt for ages. Your bike will get fixed up one way or another. Just treat it as a learning experience.
I've just got over three broken ribs after I dropped my bike on a mid corner manhole cover 1/2 mile from home. These things happen.

Sorry to hear about the ribs mate, Will take it as a learning experience!!! I’ll try to hit something softer next time.... got my eye on a little Ford escort convertible at the moment.

Personally, if I had to hit something, I would aim for a 2CV. They are bumper to bumper crumple zones.
