Out and about near the Ridgeway

This track was somewhere near the Ridgeway (only Clive knows where). Conditions were pretty slippering following the recent rain.

I think Alan (Madasahatter) is indicating he has fallen over 4 times already !

Nadeem fitted a new Bash Plate and wanted me to take a picture (at least that was his excuse) ...

After picking up Nadeem, Clive gave a masterclass on how to do a 3 point turn ...

... maybe not ...

Towards the end of the day Alan was getting a little too confident and managed to launch his bike into the hedgerow (I did check he was alive before taking a picture!!!)

Me, I stayed upright all day and now think TKC's are magic !

At least Alan fell off at the end of the day - i decided to do it at the start of our little jaunt on salisbury plain last thursday

East Ilsley - My mum does'nt far from there, next time i go up on the bike i might go home on some of the ridgeway

The first is Gidley lane.
The "Green Lane" down to East Ilsley is called Woolvers Road.
8 is about a mile short of the end of the Ridgeway at Streatley.
9 I'm guessing is also on Old Street

Yep, Gidley Lane leads onto Old Street they've really 'destroyed the character' at the Chieveley end with their over repairing
