Out for A Ride

out for a ride 10/09/09 & or 11/09/09. The weather is looking GOOD. Possible route's lakes or Forest of Bowland ,Settle. kettlewell Or any others routes Ideas always welcome. Would love to do some Gentle off roading as I've only got Tourances on.

It was a bill ride out Approx 200miles

We went but came back in the dark got to bowness at 6,15 nice and sunny had a walk around it was very quiet, There werea few bikes around .
We followed a 04 plate 1150gs home on the motorway got back at about 10.15.

What a contrast to saturday!! when we did the Trough-of-bowland then settle /malham. But it was a good test for my new gear which passed with flying colours. I thought summer was over,but it looks like we may get a slight repreve,so I intend to get out as much as poss.

I'm surprised you didn't see a red 1200 GSA, HP2E and a KTM640 coming down the other way.

nope saw two 1200gs near Kettlewell, Going on a road unsuitable for large vans. It looked interesting. I will give it ago next time i'm over there. But we where trying a different route anyhow which turned out to be a good loop from Settle to kettlewell then onto hawes and the back to settle about 200 miles in total.
