Outlook Express question

I want to start using this for the purposes of job hunting, as I can use the mail merge function to fire off a one hit e-mail to various agencies that I am signed up with.

I'm not even sure if I ever used it when it came with the PC, as I use Orange & Windows Live for e-mail.

Outlook prompts me for a password that I no longer remember or perhaps even had!

How do I get Outlook to work?

My PC IS using XP.

is it

the password for your email server possibly? I don't think it should ask you for a password as a matter of course, perhaps it's to trying to download mail from an account. Check the account settings
