Planing another tour next year two up me and the misses on my 1200gs leave sunderland to montenegro then ferry over to ancona across italy up into france back to dover home.
the route will take me and the misses though france, belgium, luxembourg, germany, austria, italy, slovenia, croatia, bosnia, montenegro, ferry, italy, france, england.

Milage would expect to be into 3000 mostley stopping in accommodation, ther will be no prebooked accommodation as stop when I need to or when weather dictates, I ride between 9 and 5 ish stopping for refreshments and meals, Ive travelled these areas many times, Croatia is stunning and very cheap, sweeping roads are tremendous and the weather is well in the 30's, I plan this trip around two weeks and we plan to leave mid june, I would budget your cost at about £1600-£2000 for two thats everything included but if you eat like a horse, drink like a fish you will need more money,

I plan to do this with me and my misses, if any one would like to come along ether on there own or two up let me no, I'm a young 49 :rob and the misses is 41 :pullface or if you would like any more info message me
thanks
graham and angie

That looks like a good jaunt the OP is offering :thumb2

Just one bit of news that might be handy for potential punters to know, would be: When is it, mate? Next year is a twelve month spread.

We have booked the ferry on Friday 31st May hull to Rotterdam then 15th June Calais to Dover two + bike all meals £220

I'm thinking doing a day or two days in the Black Forest

We plan to stop off at BMW Munich then the eagles nest hitlers holiday home before we head in to the alps,

If any one would like any info then pm me

We would be happy to accommodate another rider or two

:blast if only the timing was a bit later......... me & the missus planning similar 2 - 3 week excursion .........

have a fantastic trip! :thumb

I no goose we have played with the dates for 6 months as I had a pm from a guy wanted to go later, but the dates were to late,

I suppose that's why we decided not to do large groups again

For some one looking to get something out of this, improve there biking skills or the experience of riding different country's, or just for the company that would be good

I fully agree.......... it's a nightmare trying to ride with larger groups. Tried it in SA and just not our cuppa. Everyone's got different ideas with regard to sightseeing, speed, accomodation etc. 2 or 3 bikes normally works fine and if you want to split off in a different irection and regroup - even better........ we used to love sitting down in the evening after a day's ride, grab the map and see wwhere next the road will take us. If we love a certain place and wanted to stay a bit longer to enjoy the area... then so it was......... relaxed and normally the best type of trip!

have a safe one.. remember the nic pics to allow us all to drool :thumb

What sort of pace do you travel at Kev? Me and the Mrs are off to Europe in May, maybe we could tag along or at least meet up for some of the journey.

Regards Mark & Kathy

Tagging along

Hey Graham (and Count Pikey) I'm thinking of taking the missus out for her first Euro trip on my GSA for a long w/e late May or early June. We'll just bimble around the Somme area so might catch you on your way back via Calais. Let us know your itinerary and maybe we can plan to join you.

Hi mark & Lou
Me & angie would be very happy to meet up at some point in France,
We haven't set any plans out for the return leg as we like to stop as & when we like, also the wheather plays a part, we would pencil in a meeting point or is it possible to exchange mobile No. That way send txts to locate one another
As we plan to get the ferry back on the 15th june to Dover.
