Over-Spary in Tank!

I've just had my fuel tank resprayed and there is some over-spray inside the tank through where the sender unit fits. How can I get this out as I don't want to leave it there as it may clog the filter?

I'd soak a rag on petrol and leave it sitting against the overspray patch for a while. It'll either soften the paint and allow you to clean it away or do nothing.

If it does nothing then you've nothing to worry about
