Overland & Adventure Bike Day at Ace Cafe
Sunday 23rd March
9am - 5pm
On Occasion of the cafe's annual Overland & Adventure Bike Day, Sunday 23rd March, Steph Jeavons will be departing the Ace on a solo overland adventure, riding a Honda CRF250L, with the aim to become the first British woman to circumnavigate the globe - 6 continents are required to accomplish this record!
Steph will also attempt to become the first British person (and only the 5th person to ever) circumnavigate the globe via all 7 continents solo on a motorbike - this means a trip to Antarctica, relying on the support of research vessels to transport her from Chile, South America.www.stephmoto-adventurebikeblog.com
As well as "waving off" Steph, also joining us at the cafe on this day, are a host of intrepid travellers to include Sam Manicom, Lois Pryce, Austin Vince, Dom Giles and Graham Field, together with stands and displays by KTM, Jack Lilley Triumph, Brubeck UK, Metzeler, Adventure Peru, Tours on Two Wheels and James Cargo Services, to name but a few!
There will also be prizes up for grabs, courtesy of those attending. Spend £5 or more over the counter and receive a raffle ticket. Draw at 3pm.For more information about what's on at the Ace, check out:
