Austin Vince
Grant Johnson
Ian Mutch - Mali on a Harley :eek
Sam Manicom
Simon Gandolfi - Old man on a bike

Sorry guys, it's not a XT500 but a DT125 or 175 MX. Still a classic though :thumb2.

This is an XT 500. Looks similar but the tailpipes on the wrong side.

23 years ago, my first biking holiday in Spain, loved the monocylinder at the time.

DT's at the Ace

I'm pretty sure it was a 175 at the Ace yesterday. Mine was a 125 - rescued it from a scrapheap in 1987, stripped and rebuilt it with my mate Pete and finally parted with it in 2002 for fifty quid to a bloke called 'Wink' who said he was going to rebuild it again. I wonder....

Digging this picture out again is bringing a tear to my eye

Had a great day at the Ace - took my two sons, 11 & 5, who started talking about touring with me when they're old enough.....result!

What do you mean "pre Loved"? Its still loved, I just dont want it to look a tart!

There was a pre-loved version there

That ok mate, she grumbled all the way up and all the way back! just hates traffic.
Mike.

Their probably thinking about touring in the KTM Landie that was there not on the bikes!

probably. either that or they just want to be as rich and famous as Austin Vince told them he is.....:augie

Erika and I were there as well, met up with Blues and Twos as well as Easy Sushi for the ride up there. Arrived quite early so managed to park up in a good spot. Gazzabart and Ruth showed up and was good to catch up with them as not seen them for a while:thumb. Indecisive then arrived (bikeless) (again...:blast) Saw Ash, Bowser, LO IQ, Thor, Terry and a few other's from this parish and then took a ride down to Newlands in the afternoon. All in all a great day and didn't see any pikeys cooking their own food in the car park...:D

A few pics from the day:aidan

All in all a great day out and the busiest I've seen the Ace for a long time:thumb2.

Ace

Great pic's!

The CCM's panniers caught my attention when I was there, two old water carriers and a couple of latches..........................Genius!

I think we all need to try to meet each other next time any sort of 'do' comes along, as these pictures where taken while I was definately there!

Great day out.

Until the next great day

Chod
