This is turning into the Fisherman's Tales thread :D:augie

I've never been hit by flying poultry while on a bike, but I once had to dodge a tray of chips & gravy.

I remember being asked if i wanted gravy with my chips up in mansfield once, i thought she was taking the p*ss. Never heard of that in Birmingham years ago never mind dodging it. :JB

Blimey guys, thanks for all the good wishes and as for some of your stories, wow:eek:

What type of owl, no idea, but it flew out directly in front of my head, banked immediately, guess it saw me, and looked about fucking 3 foot across, seriously it was really huge so perhaps a barn owl?
I know it felt like a freight train hitting my head!

As for the new visor, I am replacing the helmet after due consideration, it was a serious impact

Thanks again all :beerjug:

Glad you are ok :thumb2 there are a lot of Pheasants around here, on last years Llangollen rideout Dahoum nearly tagged one when I was following him, I hit one in the dark in mid overtake at about 75-80, thankfully it ran rather than flapped and the front tyre got it dead centre.
