Great ride up to the Owls Nest Llandovery this morning. It was the first ride for my R100 special I built over lockdown, a few issues to iron out but on the whole really pleased. It was also the first ride for a slightly modified Mikeyboy special. We were never really happy with the Maico front brake, so I built a new front wheel using a 7” Twin leading shoe hub and brake plate from. 74 Honda CL360.It definitely stops now and I think looks period correct.
