My Local halfords have a set going for £44 are they any good?

Yes, but £44 is a bit much - I'd have thought £30...

And what are you fitting them to? Are you sure BMW bars are the right diameter for the grips? (I've a niggling thought they aren't.....)

Definately too expensive. Have them fitted to Mrs Flips Transalp and they are very good. Wires are a bit of a pain compared to Bm ones but they are much more reliable

30quid ish on ebay.
I have a set in the garage which have been fitted to a bike but if you live close to Coalville,Leics you can have them for 15quid.
