Oxford Hinterland Jacket and Pants

Thanks to the heads up from younger06, I went to the Sportsbikeshop today to try on the Oxford Hinterland jacket and pants, which is on special offer

They use Oxford’s own Dry2dry three layer laminate, rated AA.

The quality is amazing for the price.

I tried on both the above jacket and all black but went for the former.

The trousers also come with a pair of braces and zip to the jacket.
The jacket is possibly a tad shorter than adventure-style jackets.

I also ordered the upgraded dynamic level 2 armour to replace the OE level 1 stuff, as well as the hip armour which isn’t standard in the pants.

Cost me ,all in under £400 which I think is a bloody bargain.
The jacket is less than 1/10 the price of the Rukka Nivala that I recently sold.

Definitely worth trying on if you are in the market for new kit.

I just got a Lupin Blue R1200RS recently........so I am tempted by the Blue version of the jacket.



Another little heads up....for the short little rides....to the shops, visiting a local mate etc etc

Have a look at the Oxford Bomber jacket!!

Very similar but just a tad smaller .
I used to have a Rev It Dominator which was a 2XL and just a tad big .
I’ve gone for 2XL in the Oxford as the XL was a tad tight and I want to wear my Held armoured waistcoat underneath .

I wonder if this kit would fit my abnormally long limbs.

Doubt it .
I’ve ordered the Long pants which are a 34” leg

I just bought myself Oxford mondial advanced suit from sbs a couple weeks ago for 350 all in. Amazing quality for the money. I'd reccomend them.

Ive been using a Mondial suit for about 3 years, been really tested in some foul eather, super impressed with it.

Was only using it once a year or so and seemed silly to have a £2000+ suit hanging in wardrobe
