Ok yes i know another tankbag question! But anyway, after my dilemma about the TT or famsa one, i discovered that Oxford do a converter so my magnetic humpback one becomes a strap on one , and its only £20 for this converter bit.

So then has anyone used this, and how does the bag seem to sit when riding? I tried it on the bike and it seems like it might interfere with the bars at full lock unless it is positioned quite far back on the bike. Things like this however are only really discovered when riding, so before i decide to buy a converter just thought i would ask around!!

Might be wider than the TT bag....it measures about 30cm accross, not sure what the tt one is.

Cheers

looks like no one has the humpback conversion kit!!!

Ah well, anyway, as my main concern was possibly with the width of the bag, could anyone with a TT one or famsa one tell me the width of those please????

Soon i will be the tankbag expert!

Just found this question and I have a humpback tankbag with a strap on ( ) adapter and I don't think it will be an issue on the GS.

Not tried it on the road as such as I got one of BM's GS bags so I'm selling it over on the for sale or wanted section along with a matching set of panniers.

Worth a look as it could be more cost effective to buy it and sell the one you have if they want £20 for the strap on! :D
