By and large I like Oxford bike products, they are generally fit for purpose and cost less than ‘big brand’ name kit. I have a Fuseblock fitted to one of my bikes and was looking for a similar solution for the other bike when I came across this :

Has anyone here used one and care to comment on them please ?

I have an Aliexpress copy of that on my Voge 300, it works a treat, I've even got the Oxford heated grips running through it with no issues.

Does the unit itself have to be connected to a switched live, or directly to the battery?

Both. There’s a permanent live and neutral, with a third wire that takes a switched live feed to power the unit up.

Thanks for the link, my Fuzeblock is silly money in comparison.

Permanent live and neutral with battery connectors, and the switched live..IMG_0088.jpeg

No spaces provided for writing on the lid which feed is for which accessory, as the Fuseblock does, but I do like the pinch to remove lid, where the Fuseblock is two very easy to lose screws.IMG_0089.jpeg

Two ‘straight through’ slots for attaching with cable ties (two included) and also a piece of double sided adhesive tape so securing it in place shouldn’t be too much of a problem.IMG_0090.jpeg

All things considered, at £24 I’m satisfied. Only four power outlets, where a Fuseblock has five or six I can’t recall, but in truth I’ve only ever used four so it should be fine.

Looks good. A very decent alternative to the Fuseblock and Thunderbox. Ta for posting. (y)

My bike has a/the Fuzeblock in a very awkward position (note the spelling). I replaced the screws with thumbscrews, they are bigger and easier (on my bike at least) to access. Beware the Fuzeblock I have is American made therefore the threads are not metric. I found this out by using thumbscrews from the back of an old computer, I think 6_32.

Ive been using one on the Himy 450 for about 3 months. Good piece of kit for the money. My only gripe is the 5 amp limit per fuse but I knew that when I was buying it

Ive the same unit, but not branded Oxford. Ive mounted it under the seat (in front of the fuel tank) on my 1150.

Is that only limited because of the 5 amp fuses under the cover?? The cabling looks more than enough if only using 1 or 2 devices and the rest remain unused.
