I am having problems with my packtalk bold hesitating / missing first word or two of navigation instructions. Has anyone experienced this and If so did you find a solution

Have you tried a hard reset of the unit, and seeing if later firmware is available?
Did reset a few weeks back didn't work. And I have the latest firmware.

Ok thanks will give this a try. It was set as second phone
Depends what sat nav and your connection setup. I have an XT and it works better set to mobile 2 rather than sat nav, my phone connects to the sat nav and my packtalk as mobile 1. I use my packtalk on various bikes without the XT so my setup allows the phone to work either with the XT or direct if not using the XT
So my setup now is as follows Nav v set with cardo and phone as mobile one. GPS set as suggest by Bin Ridin . Did a simulator route on nav today and all seems ok. Will find out on Friday, out for a spin
Everything has been ok. So removing the GPS as second phone and reset as Bin Ridin suggested seems to have worked
Old post but I have just returned from a tour of Spain / France and I have still got the same problems. Also It has randomly said (off route ). which I was not the purple line was on the correct road. And on the way to Rotterdam ferry ,it said ( navigate of road ). Don't even know what that means. I do have the latest software updates.

Yes the gps will do that odd times just tap ok and carry on
Autocom vox used todo the miss the first word thing just try to say a stock phrase to start a conversation and trigger it
