Clearly this will not stop a determined scrote, but it will deter a passer by blagging your jacket, fleece, gloves etc on your seat whilst you have an adventurous mooch about.

oooh, I have one of those which one of my kids used when they went backpacking. If anyone still wants one please let me know. Not sure if I have the padlock tho.

To be honest I’d swap out the padlock anyway, it’s the place where they have skimped. Still a good buy without padlock.
