Pain in the knee

Now that i'm riding the bike more(1200GS) my right knee is getting sore from hitting/scraping the black side cover of the bike even more so under braking.
i'm not abnormally tall (6'2"), strangely my left knee doesn't scrape at all.
anybody else had this problem, can you adjust them more in. i'd hate to think the solution is a new seat !

Didn't get quite that problem (also 6' 2"), just started to wear my leathers away on the fastners. Cured the problem by changing to the Touratech Phillips-headed "Quick Fastners".

what do they look like, is there a website i can chech them out/order - living in SA we don't get all the goodies and options you guys get, we have sunshine instead !
