They look good, a nice gloss finish is what I'm after and was worried because the plastic has a grainy feel.

Is that Axminster or Wilton in the garage? I'm thinking about laminate flooring ;)

1) The textured finish is intentional, according to BMW, to act as a key for the primer/surfacer they use before the colour & clear coats......it's also very durable....takes a good kicking every time short-arse here gets on/off the 'bike......;)

2) Wilton rug.....with Duckhams highlights........concrete plays havoc with me knees when I'm genuflecting.......

Yep, did 'em myself, use an etching primer and rub down then spray with a spraygun and laquer, I did mine in Marakesh Red 'cos its a black bike.
Cost £25 for paint, thinners & laquer.
