Painting 1150gs wishbone do I need to remove forks

Hi
My front wishbone looks like a cat has taken a pee on it �� I had the o ring fail on the fuel sender.
I am wanting to take it off to get it painted by a body shop.
Do I have to remove the forks to get it off or can I leave them on to remove it?

Given that the telelever supports the front fork etc I would say yes.

Can you remove forks both at same time or do you have to remove the lower fork mount and take each fork of individually?

Slide them out one at a time.
