Painting BMW Panniers

Thinking about colour matching my Panniers which came with the new beak in October. I see in the BMW hand book it says they can be colour matched.

I have a friendly paint sprayer, thinking about having it done over the winter, I have no doubt would look good, anyone else tried doing this and the result ?

I have the Graphite colour Beak.

I assume that the tank is also Graphitan ?(the best colour) . I posted a similar post a few months ago but got very few replies, I will watch this one with interest.

i painted the panniers on my last gs.
they definately look much better, espacially with the rubber gaurd things bmw sell.

but.....they do scratch up much,much easier. be careful when swinging your leg over.
after getting boots with steel bits on the toes i managed to make a few good gouges in the paint.

still havent decided wether to paint the bags on my replacement.

Yes, mine is graphitan, although I would rather call it a nice 'mettalic grey' Either way am aware of scuff marks, but the panniers are not a permenant fixture. Will get a price from 'my man' and let you know. He did a cracking job on a spill I had on the Varadera re painting a fairing, so we shall see.
Will not spend £100's as such, but worth a look ! I will let you know..
