Painting engine bars

Anybody painted or powdercoated their engine bars??

Quite fancy black for mine. Pics anyone???

Mine has just been sandblasted and powdercoated with "Ikea silver". Also frame got same treatment, its color is RAL5017.

Had black, didn't like it so I had them blasted and powdercoated in silver. Much better.

You know what, I agree. I've just been playing with paintshop and it looks crap black.
Think I'll just leave em silver....

Paint stripped off with Nitromors and then steel wool, 2 pack Ford silver & half a dozen coats of lacquer. Works well on telelever wishbones as well...
