Has anyone painted (colour coded) BMW Panniers /Top box ??, I've done (had it done !) on a set of Givi's on my Hayabusa , and the paint shop had a bit of "chemical reaction" at the first attempt, and had to strip all the paint, flat everthing and start again...........they were on a quoted price for the job , so it didn't cost me anymore , but if I decide to have it done on these new BMW badged boxes they may be a bit "wary"
;)

Painted My Lids

I did my lids no problem, the BMW boxes aren't treated at all so its no big deal, just drill out the pop rivets and take 'em off, use Stainless button socket bolts to replace.
Gently warm up the badges to loosen the glue and lift off with a broad blade screwdriver.

I did mine in Marakesh red, looks nice on a black bike.

Sprayed a pair of BM panniers, great job I ended up doing several other owners as well after I was the giunea pig.
Used the flexi paint for plastic and then laquer.
