Use as separate stand alone, as rear surrounds with a Sonos soundbar or as a stereo pair

FS due to upgrade to ERA 100

Only ever been used as surrounds , never been up full 'whack' ( never felt the need)
Working perfectly, and come with the original box's. packaging ,cables, etc

£150 plus the carriage at cost

P.S these are not voice activated / controlled i.e Alexa

I have a pair of those in the kitchen and think they punch way above their weight.

How do you find the ERAs in comparison?

Seem a bit 'crisper and a deeper bass ..... still playing with settings and Tuning app ...
They have changed shape and now the ERA's don't fit on my Sanus stands......... not a lot of difference, I'm looking at 3D printing a new base plate.

I’ve a couple of play1s i use in our conservatory just for music. When the app works they are brilliant, but….

I’m interested still though, as our tv sound is crap and the cheapo sound bar i got from curry’s actually makes it worse. Which Sonos sound bar did you use and how did you find it connecting altogether with the new(ish) from Sonos.

I’ve a couple of Play 1’s running as surround speakers with a Beam 2. Very easy to set up on the S2 app and they work a treat. I have a couple of play 5’s gen 2 elsewhere and never had a problem with them, but I do recall it was a bit of a pain switching from the S1 app to the S2 in the early days. I probably deleted the system/network and set them up from scratch on the S2 app. Since then no issues with connectivity.

Sorry for the late reply...
I use a Beam as the SB and there was absolutely no problem connecting as it forms its 'own' network wirelessly. Run the connection wizard thing via the app... Add surrounds' and then use the Truplay to let it tune its self to the room space.
The Sonos speakers won't connect to your sound bar because of the above.

EDIT ... found a RAY sounder refurbished by Sonos at £159. https://www.sonos.com/en-gb/shop/ray-b-stock

NEW at https://www.ceiling-speakershop.co.uk/speakers/soundbar/sonos.html £179

I assume these are S2 compatible- I know they bricked some speaker types unless you stuck with S1 and I’m S2
Thx

Do you have any idea what postage might be? These are fantastic speakers. I have 3 already and would like more but don't want alexa stuff.
