Just got hold of an Autocom BT02A , as the Zumo 660 I have is now on a Nav4 bracket, I need to hear the prompts/listen to the music on the 660.

Anyway, plugged it all in. set it up to link to the Zumo, and the Zumo finds the BT02A but will not pair with it... message every time 'pairing failed'

So messing around a bit I managed to pair the BT02A to my iPhone, and the iPhone to the Zumo  And this doesn't give me voice prompts as I need

Any solution welcomed

There is a button to press on the BT02A to get it to pair, once I did this it connected to my RIDER sat nav instantly...........

Thanks for the reply, but mine doesn't... I've pressed the button , the blue light flashes faster, the Zumo finds the unit, when I press ok it comes up with 'pairing failed' every time.

I've also had a try with my helmet on, and using the phone as a hub is not working either

On the SatNav, during the pairing, are you getting the prompt to enter the passkey, which should be 0000?

It flashes up with the message 'Attempting to pair with the device - passkey for the device is 1234' and then it just flashes up with 'pairing failed' I never get as far as to get to enter a passkey

How odd, the passkey for the earlier BT module (part 1273), and the more recent BTM02a module is 0000 (see BTM02A manual here). I don't suppose before pressing ok there is an opportunity to change the passkey?

It just flashes up with attempting to pair with device, passkey for device is 1134, and then in less than a second it changes to 'pairing failed'

Even if I get in quick and press ok when the first message appears, it then instantly changes to 'pairing failed'

:(

No opportunity to change the passkey....and I don't actually get the opportunity to put it in anyway

Sorry Bryn, can't help then. I seem to remember with my Zumo 550 I enter the code manually, I'm not familiar with the 660. Hope you get it sorted soon.

I'm beginning to suspect its an issue with the 660 rather than the Bluetooth BT02A. .....as the BT02A paired ok with my phone .....anyone with ideas? :thumb2

660 paired with iPhone, time to ring Autocom.

Would you believe they only do email for tech support .... what a load of crap.

I'll give Sam at Chainspeed a call for advice :thumb2

EDIT: just tried again, and it worked... I was trying to pair it using the 'change phone' not the 'change audio' ... what a twat :blast
