Panel Wipe/Degreaser safe to use on matt paint?

Wasn't sure where to post this so please move if needed, I couldn't create a thread in the technical section.

I've just bought some Tony James PPF protection film for the side tanks and it says to use a degreaser/panel wipes before applying the film. I've got the trophy with matt paint, is it safe to use these products with this paint please?

Think I just used spray with few drops washing up liquid, then some white vinegar, had a couple spectacles wipes as well to finish off, then dried.
I used the motographix decals so chose a sunny day and it softened them up no end to make them nice and floppy to attach around the tighter curved bits

I used Gtechniq panel wipe, all ok on my Triple Black

I got the protection film for my Rallye from NN.
It says to use methylated spirit to clean the panel before application.
