pannier fitting

If I wanted to fit those to a 1150 Adventure would it just be a case of getting the correct mounting kit from the dealers?

Yep.

The pannier rails are about £85 new, but they often come up for sale on here for around £25 - 30.

If it's got a full size left hand pannier, ie no cut out for an exhaust, you'll need to lower the exhaust on the Adventure for it to fit.

I only say this as my mates just bought an "M" reg R1100R, the older version, and the left hand pannier won't fit my Adventure as it fouls the exhaust big time.

Bang went my sneaky idea of borrowing them sometime...........

IIRC the 1150R and 1150GS are interchangeable.
