I've ordered some of those for my 1200 gs so will let you all know what they are like

I bought two of them and found that they don't fit the BMW system cases. (by that - I mean the aerodynamic thermoplastic ones, not the square GS-type)

They are too long and not the correct profile.

What they do fit, is the Givi 46ltr topbox - which gives you some idea of the shape.
