Has anyone done this before (See Image). The Guy In The Shop Who Is German By the Way!!! Explained what to do and said it would be easy after the first one. I believe him, but need to get the first one done. My German is ok but i think he said that the little tumblers have to all sit flush. I know where the tiny springs go.

The Tumblers all have numbers on them but i cant seem to get them to sit flush, Am i being a fool??? Is there an easy way ? And at what point do i put them into pannier fitting? How do they go in? God I am just not with it am i :( Instructions by the way are shiteeee....Please help guys.. Trying to get this done before I watch my Beloved Arsenal get beaten to a pulp by Real Madrid.

Thx Macca

Do a search under Locks Page down to 3 and under Adventure panniers I think you will find the particular solution to getting thing lined up I believe the tumbler mechanism for the lock is the same on both GSA and other R models.
Also given your location look under Mings Joke page at item Mayday Mayday.

Thanks Paul,

I just got back from actually fitting them and then read your reply. Seems I should really have more faith in myself..........Once I looked at it a bit more and done the first one they were easy. A case of working out the numbers and then its a piece of p***

Thx

Macca.

And in time for a bit of footie

Just curious, but do the tumbler numbers have anything to do with the key numbers indicated on the tag that comes with the luggage keys?

I've noticed that keys don't have a key number with any digit greater that 5.

I take it the tumblers aren't available separately.
