Pannier locks waiting time

Hi

Well the good news is I pick my GSA up on Thursday.

The bad news is there are no locks for the panniers still, so I don't get any luggage.

How long have new buyers had wait wait after collection for their locks?

According to my dealer as soon as bike is ordered and they have vin number they can order locks and keys and get them within a week usually arriving at the same time as the bike or before
Seems the problem is with bikes bought as stock where panniers are not specified and then locks are later ordered and it can cause a short delay

From the time of ordering to actualy receiving it should be approximately 30 days.

My bike was ordered in January with luggage, don't understand why there just be a delay if its a 30 day lead time.

German efficiency!

I suppose it's possible the dealers won't or can't order them until the bike's in their possession to make sure they've the correct VIN. I don't think the processes are as joined up as they could be.

I pick my bike up last week and lve not been given a date for the panniers and top box so at the moment l have the luggage off there demo bike
