Can you remind us of just how good value they are please. Also for the benefit of any newbies it may be worth just remind us of how ridiculously cheap these high quality hand made, made to measure panniers are :D
Cheers
Gecko

PS Interested in a Part ex for some cheap baccy ??? :spl1f:

Good idea that

The all in cost of these wunderful panniers, is a mere 600 earth pounds. The quality is fit for royalty, no, far better than that, these are quite good. So far they have survived everything that everyone has thrown at them (mainly 1100/1150GSs) They even survived a direct comparison test in south america, by our very own squidbrain, who threw his bike into a ditch, to see what happened, Jose then threw his touracrap equipped bike into another ditch, and totally trashed his panniers. Sqiudbrain reports the ditch will make a full recovery:D
Gecko, could be on for some of that:beerjug:

Boy, do I feel regret when I think that I bought my zega cases 6 months ago. I already trashed them both and they are totally useless at the moment. For about the same amount I could`ve purchased your Wordlbeaters... and now I`m without sufficient funds to do something about it...

BTW, do your cases also fit the Zega carrier rack?

Love what you did with those panniers!

Hi Vern, have done a line drawing of a slightly modified pannier lid. Will email it to you when my dad scans it in for me (havent got a scanner myself). I also won't want any attachment loops on them. Chat to you later.

J-P, I'm sure the panniers would fit on the touracrap frames, but I don't rate them very highly. All the support for the weight is in the wrong place, but I could always beef a pair up ( ??) to do the job better.
Can't you flog them to someone at a knock down price?

Nah, people overhere buy "all in", panniers and rack all together. Most people prefer the BMW-panniers (but why I cannot understand). I liked the load-capacity of the TT stuff but I don`t like the way they crumble when you bump into something.

As I said, at the moment I lack the funds to do something about it. The cheapest way seems to buy a set of TT-panniers all over again but having seen your system I`d rather save my money and wait a bit longer.

Do you by any chance have pictures of your rack only, without panniers? Do you accept PayPal? (I`m getting carried away here :D )

Paul G. accepts paypal and could always forward the monies to Vern. Unless he stashes it away in his Aston Martin Vanquish slush fund our GS sponsoships are funding!!!:D

Sussed it!

I've just sussed out how touracrap keep going, making biscuit tins for bikes. They only last five minutes, and then you have to buy another pair. Watch out for the Mk5 World beaters, 22g ally, Welds not on corners (please, can someone PLEASE explain why they use tha in the adverts?????) And a plain finish, so all your gear gets covered in ally dust, evey time you go around the block. They'll also be more car friendly in future. They'll be made weaker than all car paint, so if you brush against a car when filtering, the box collapses, thus not scratching the little brum brum:D

Same as before for me please Vern. Could I have hook thingies on the lids & silver hard anodizing this time 'round. Can I also have 2 springy coathangers welded together for the lids like you did for MikeO. Cheers m8 :beerjug:

NO, now feck off and annoy someone else, you'll get what you're given, so don't harp on. (sales pitch coming along in leaps and bounds now:D )

Ahhh, always a pleasure, never a chore when doing business with you ( or is it the other way around - I can never remember... :D )
