Has anyone got a set of aftermarket metal pannier frames for an 1150GS?
The Holan frames I bought at the same time as my Ardcases don’t allow enough clearance for the silencer (although they were meant to), so I fitted a stubby to get me through the trip I was going on, and it’s been there for years.
However, I want to refit the Y piece and have the choice of Remus or original can. I’ve considered (and tried) bending the y-piece and exhaust to allow clearance, but they work just fine with the system panniers so I think the best solution is to just get different metal frames. I could get mine modified, but if someone’s got an unused set, that!s easier still.
I believe most frames have the same loop size.
