I don’t particularly like the look/price of the BMW pannier liners for the standard GSA LC panniers. Any recommendations other than 10p from Tesco’s jobs (Other supermarkets are available. ) It would be nice if the contents were easily accessible while the bags are still in the hard luggage but this is not essential. Got to be strong and durable not simply drop to bits after a couple of trips.

Have a look on ebay, there are some good aftermarket liners.

Go outdoors do some bags. Its a bit or trial and error. I took the paniers and top box into the shop
I think they are meant to be freezer bags but they have survived very well and look ok.

Kriega KS-40 great bit of kit. If it is not to late then read here first. If you can not order them online then ring them up tomorrow morning and they will make them available online to order. £153 for two delivered (unless they put up their prices online too) is a bargain price and they are great as an inflight cabin luggage. Plus not to forget 10 year warranty.

Kriega KS40 load like a suitcase and great as a flight bag, the best by far.

I have the Istanbul bags. Good quality and cheap, on flea bay.

I have the Maine Event bags for hexhead panniers. Technically they are not waterproof but while my RHS case leaks, the bagged gear has never got wet.

Sent using techie stuff

I use a Kriega KS40 for the pannier and a GiviT511 which can be used for the top box or the pannier and IMHO is a far better bag than the BMW one and at half the price. The Kriega is great for your clothing and has a laptop area, the only fault (more of a niggle) is you can't access the contents without taking it out of the pannier.
The Give is waterproof with a valve to let out excess air and you can get into it if you need to.

For me their the best bags I've ever used :rob

Bought a three bag set of KJD (Kathy's Journey Design) from a seller on here for around half the retail price.

I fancied the KJD bags after reading good reviews on some (particularly American) forums

Whilst the bags are as described by the seller - no complaints - I'm not sure that they are worth more money than some of the cheaper aftermarket examples. Time will tell - I haven't used them yet.

I have used a set of pannier liners like those sold by Greatbikersgear.com for years and years before the stitching began to fail

I got some cool bags that were exactly the right size (not expanded) for the OEM panniers on the GS. About £20 from Argos and are still going strong four years later.

The one's on the ebay link are the GreatBikersGear one's.
I have a set as well, no issues here, though I don't often use the top box bag, prefer to put things into that piece by piece.
I did buy the slightly smaller pannier bags though (I think they are the Vario pannier liners), they leave enough space above (or below) the liner bag for items like a tent or stove in their own bags so you're not putting wet/smelly items in with your clothes/sleeping bags.
