A good thing to know, i brought a GSA today, trading in my GS, i dont like panniers ( i was going to sell them ) so Vines did me a deal for the top box and plate and im getting a cheque for the differance of £240 when i pick the big up on 18th.

Fair play to Vines its done me a favour, i was going to sell them on and would not have the full value though.

Didn't even know about the deal until I went to pick up my new 09 GSA and was told by Jefferies that I have 2 free Alli panniers

Have been using a full set of Varios on the old GSA until now, but this has made my mind up to swap over

Will have the 3 panniers ( used ), side mounting racks, and top box plate all up for sale within the next week or so

Strolled into Ocean for a butchers with the GF to look at a new GS650 for her. They had a red GSA with all the packs and the free alloy pannier deal. It worked out the same price as my 06 bike exactly three years ago. Thinking long and hard about trading in, would just need to get the colour changed to the classic white which is so obviously the definitive colour for the GSA

Talking to Paddy Maddock last week. According to him this deal is only available in UK and not in Ireland.
