Recommendations please gents. Pants!! Got a big trip planned end of may, West coast of Scot. Gotta find some waterproof armoured pants, I have a Frank T Aqua pore 2 piece at moment and my arse gets cooked after an hour or so. Tried EDZ base layer under, jeans n even nowt underneath, so comfy pantaloon suggestions please. Cheers Nozza

Add a sheepskin cover to your seat as well, it seems to help on long hot rides - you can either buy a proper cover or do what I do and get a cheap sheepskin and hold it on with elasticated shock cord, mine cost me a tenner or so delivered and was a trial before buying something better but is so good I never changed it :)

I called at the weekend and looked at the Rallye GTX n Cruise GTX, lot of money so i would like to know if there that comfy when you wear em all day.

I'm a big fan of Rukka stuff personally. I've got the FFF shorts and t shirt. The stuff is brilliant. It draws sweat away from the skin and really cools you down incredibly well. Go into a shop and put your hand inside a pair (not being worn :D ), you'll see what I mean. It also has invisible seams, so makes for a really comfy ride.

Costs a fair whack, £20 for the shorts, £40 for the T shirt. I've just ordered some more in at infinity, gonna need a few sets for travelling.

I have the cruise, had it since they first came out and wear it nearly all year round. The only time I don't wear it is in the height of summer when i wear an Air jacket to help keep me cool. Mines in black. At weekends I wear it all day when out for some very long rides 600+ miles and never been uncomfortable

Terayon n thunder = Will go n check out the HG Cruise :thumb2
Ovenpaa = Gonna get a skin n try that, gotta work out how to keep it on :nenau
JonnyL = Forgot about needing a change :blast looking at Rukka site
:clap Cheers fellas

if you've got dosh to spare, suggest BMW streetguard 2 (about 250 quid). lots of sizes, hard wearing, cool in summer, don't absorb water (so dry quickly). Had mine for 2 years and very happy with them.
