Paralever bearing removal

I am halfway through the job , have searched lots of posts but what i need to know is ,
do i use heat to remove the old bearings or knock them out cold ?

Easy to drift in and out cold. I use a bit of wood when I drift them in to protect the bearing from my hammer Just make sure to put them in the right way round, with the taper inwards

Cold will be fine.... light taps. If you belt them to hard they will lock.
