I have a parasitic battery drain on my 2001 R1150GS of 11ma and have removed all fuses one by one along with all relays again one by one in the fuse box and none of them causes the reading to go down. The drain flattens the battery after about 4 weeks if not used and this is not ideal at this time of year when riding time is reduced so I wanted to try to get the issue resolved before spring arrives.
The reading is the same with all accessories disconnected from the battery and only the single positive lead connected and the negative lead and battery connected in series through the multimeter.
I checked all fuses individually for voltage and they all show zero volts across the terminals.
So my question is what is connected to the battery that could cause such a drain that is not fused or relayed, would the alternator be a suspect or what could be the cause of such a low drain?
Thanks in advance for any help, advice or guidance.
Ian.
