But I just finished rebuilding another R100GS and had it out for a wee test run :D

I have nothing much to say except:-

I FCUKING love these bikes You just feel alive riding them! No ABS No Fuel injection .... No Servo Brakes :rob I only had my open face and a Bomber Jacket No twat suit No Arai Tour X 99 no big brash GS boots just:- jeans, jacket, gloves, open face, "Comme Le Steptoe"!

Now a few more tweaks and I "might" give it back to its owner !:green gri

(Note to self front calliper could stand a bit more bleeding  )

Amazing what a timing chain, Decoke and valve grinding does for them Oh and Oil seals changed so oil no longer pissing out everywhere :blast

Hit indicated 115 mph on my TKC's yesterday  started weaving like a good un !! ( private road of course ). Great bikes :bow

Tut Tut It says quite clearly Kenny on the sticker that you should have on the dash! Max Speed on TKC 80 is 100mph

Took mine into London on Sunday to the bike shed event...

Friggin great bike for wizzing about on and buzzing the unsuspecting bikers heading towards Tabbacco Dock.

I've got some Mefo Explorer tyres on mine a very impressive dual use tyre.

I have just used my R80RT for a long weekend in Scotland, staying in Fort William, had a great time, fast enough, avoided the motorways going up and coming down, I only took it because a couple of friends were on 80's honda's, bike ran perfectly and made the weekend, fantastic fun!

There,s alot to be said for , 2wheels , an engine, and a set of handle bars. Keep it simple stupid.

Took the RS up to mid-Wales yesterday after a service.

Therapy in spanners, takes your mind off everything apart from torque settings :)
