Hiya
New forumite, having been lurking on here for a while digesting the content having discovered GS's a few months ago. I'm not really much of a poster, but this may change.
But this really incensed us on Saturday.
Went into Park Lane Motorrad, needing a complete rider and pillion set of gear + helmets - likely spend north of a couple of grand.
Lady in the clothing dept was busy, and there was a small queue. No issue with this. BUT the bike sales blokies were all free. Asked if they could help, to which the response was no, had to wait for the clothing lady.
Is selling clothing that technical and difficult that bike sales people can't do it? It seems that they were too busy - all three of them - sitting around picking their noses than helping customers.
Another customer in the shop was interested in a System 6 helmet and the clothing lady got one out of stores, and gave it to the customer. No offer of a helmet fitting, no advice. Zip zadda. Customer just left to it.
Helmet fitting is so important to get right, for obvious safety reasons, and the blonde clothing lady didn't have a clue.
Not impressed with her product knowledge or the attitude of the staff.
Well they can carry on picking their noses and igoring customers. Our £2K is getting spent at another dealer !!! C'mon !
