I've got to head south for a funeral next week and I don't fancy 1100 miles in 24 hours. So flying becomes an option.

Has anyone parked at Glasgow Airport and returned to find it still there?

Wisdom in the usual format please.

Andy

In laws might be able to help?

Have rellies in Renfrew. A fairly short taxi ride from the airport. If you're stuck post again.

Glasgow Airport Police

Welcome to keep it here but I notice the Airport Police car park often has a few bikes parked in it, so could be worth a phone call and that saves on taxis.

I work for BAA at Aberdeen airpot and assuming their car parking is the same as ours, the long and short term car parks have covered bike bays with anchor points to lock to and car park attendants are their 24hrs a day. Its also free for bikes, take a ticket at the barrier on the way in then take it to the carpark attendents office prior to leaving and he will give you one to get the barrier with, all for free.

Thats how it works in Aberdeen and I believe it will be the same in Glasgow (both BAA airports) if unsure give them a ring, but I'm pretty sure your bike will be safe, I have no concerns leaving mine.

gatwick's the same - so I assume its a standard thing at most airports.

Very useful perk !
