On the 3rd June 2010 four mates and me are going to Normandy for the D Day commemorations and plan to cycle the entire length of the D Day beaches over a 10 day period.
We are travelling down to pompey either in my motorhome or in the car with a trailer on the rear to carry the bikes, can anyone reccomend where i could park either a motorhome or car and small trailer for 10 days, i dont mind paying as long as the cost is reasonable and the parking secure, again a few miles from the port isnt too much of an issue.
Any help would be appreciated:thumb

There is a multi-storey car park in the port for those that go as foot passengers. However, for 10 days you might find the cheapest option, other than a UKGSer having space, is to book your vehicle into somewhere for a service and ask them to look after it for the duration.

I parked in the multistorey car park last week as I use the ferry to Caen alot as a foot passenger and it cost me £12 for 14 hours, I think that it costs around £18 for 24 hours.
